We recommend getting a tune-up for your bike at least once a year. Tune-ups at Liberty Cycle are competitively priced at $60.

Bikes purchased at Liberty Cycle receive free lifetime tune-ups. A tune-up includes adjustments to the headset, bottom bracket, gears, brakes and hubs and basic wheel truing and spot lubrication.

We also recommend periodically cleaning and oiling the chain and freewheel, particularly if you ride a lot, or your bike is in need of some TLC. This involves removing the chain, chain rings, derailleur and rear cogs and dipping them in a parts bath and costs $30.
